Mayer Brown has announced that A. Joseph Jay III has joined the firm as co-chair of its Global Investigations & White Collar Defense practice. He will be based in the firm's Washington, DC and New York offices.

Jay advises companies, boards, audit committees and executives on government investigations, internal investigations, white-collar defense, regulatory enforcement and compliance matters.

Before joining Mayer Brown, Jay was practice group leader of the Governmental Practice at Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton LLP.
