Weil has announced that Peter Feist has rejoined its New York office as a partner and U.S. co-head of the firm’s private equity practice.

Peter Feist focuses on private equity transactions, including leveraged buyouts, public and private acquisitions, take-private transactions, minority and structured investments, recapitalizations and exits.

Previously, Peter Feist spent nearly 20 years at Weil before moving to Cravath, Swaine & Moore in 2023, where he served as head of its private equity practice. Earlier in his career, he spent many years practicing private equity law at Weil.
