Sullivan & Cromwell has announced that David Avery-Gee and Sarah Flaherty have joined its London office as partners.

 

Before joining Sullivan & Cromwell, David Avery-Gee was co-managing partner of Weil's London office and head of its M&A practice. He advises on cross-border public and private M&A, joint ventures, public takeovers and restructurings.

 

Sarah Flaherty was previously with Weil, where she advised on international M&A, corporate restructurings, joint ventures and equity offerings. She also served on secondment as a senior case officer at the UK Takeover Panel.

 

The hires are part of Sullivan & Cromwell's continued expansion in London, which has added 13 lateral partners over the past year.
