King & Wood Mallesons recently held the official opening ceremony for its Vancouver office.

Founded in 1993, KWM is one of the earliest partnership law firms established in China and currently maintains offices across mainland China, Hong Kong, Japan and North America.

The Vancouver office is KWM’s first office in Canada and its fourth office in North America, following the opening of offices in Silicon Valley, New York and Los Angeles. The office is jointly led by lawyers Hu Zaichi and Liu Cheng.

Since resuming independent operations, KWM has continued to expand its presence in North America. The firm’s Los Angeles office also officially opened earlier this month.
